Meet Samantha Selby, the woman redesigning the way you run your business.

Running a sustainable fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand can feel heavy sometimes. There are products to create, customers to support, suppliers to manage, emails to answer, content to make, finances to track and about seventeen decisions waiting for you before you’ve even finished your morning coffee.

When you’re doing most of it yourself, the workload can feel relentless. Even when the business looks like it’s going well from the outside, behind the scenes you can be running on empty, wondering why something you care about so deeply has started to feel so exhausting.

That is exactly the pattern Samantha Selby kept seeing.

Sam is the founder of My Supernatural Design and a certified Level 4 Quantum Human Design™ Practitioner based in Sydney. Before finding Human Design, she worked across project management, business development, coaching and consulting. She understood strategy, systems and how businesses were supposed to operate, but at a turning point in her own life, she began questioning whether the way she had been taught to work actually suited her.

Human Design gave her a framework for looking at her energy, decision-making style and natural strengths differently. Not as another set of rules to follow, but as a way to question some of the rules she had already absorbed.

Today, Sam works with purpose-driven people who are building meaningful things in the world. They are the carers, creatives, founders and world changers who often look capable and successful from the outside, but feel completely depleted behind the scenes.

She created My Supernatural Design after seeing how many talented, committed people were burning themselves out trying to fit traditional ideas of productivity, leadership and success. They were forcing themselves to work in ways that looked right on paper, but felt wrong in practice.

And I think a lot of sustainable founders will recognise themselves in that.

We are regularly told that running a successful business means showing up every day, being constantly available, following a strict routine, pushing through discomfort and doing more whenever growth slows down. The message is usually that if the business is not working, you must not be working hard enough.

But what if working harder is not the answer?

What if the way you have been taught to make decisions, structure your days and measure productivity simply does not suit you?

Human Design is not a scientific business system or a replacement for strategy. I see it as a self-reflection tool that can help you notice patterns in how you work, where you tend to override your instincts and why certain ways of operating leave you more exhausted than others.

Sam’s approach is practical, grounded and refreshingly honest. She is not telling founders to throw away their plans and wait for the universe to run their businesses. She helps them think more carefully about how they use their energy, make decisions, set boundaries and build businesses that do not require them to constantly fight against themselves.

Because there is no point creating a sustainable business if the way you run it is completely unsustainable for you.

In her masterclass, Sam explores how Human Design can help founders better understand their individual strengths, decision-making tendencies and energy patterns. She looks at why so many purpose-driven people burn out trying to follow traditional business models, how outside expectations shape the way we work and why understanding yourself can change the way you lead your business.

She also introduces the ideas behind her personalised Human Design reading books. Each one is individually written and explores a person’s energy type, decision-making process, profile, centres and common conditioning patterns across work, relationships and everyday life.

What I find most interesting about Sam’s work is the way it brings the human being back into the business.

It is easy to get so focused on the strategy, the sales targets and the next marketing task that you forget there is an actual person responsible for carrying all of it. A person with limited energy, different strengths, changing needs and a life outside the business.

Sam believes the brands cutting through now are the ones with real humans behind them. People are looking for care, creativity, honesty and genuine thought. They want to understand who created the product, why it exists and what that person believes.

Your personality is not something you need to remove from your business to appear professional. It can be one of the strongest things about your brand.

Understanding how you naturally communicate, create and make decisions can help you stop copying business advice that was never right for you in the first place. It can give you permission to build in a way that feels more personal, more sustainable and much harder for another brand to replicate.

You can access this masterclass and 50+ more trainings, workshops and lessons created specifically to help sustainable fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands scale, grow and increase their impact when you join the Selling Sustainability program.

Because building a better business is not only about finding the right strategy. It is also about creating a way of working that allows you to keep going without losing yourself in the process.
